I ordered this drum set for my 11 year old son for Christmas. It was pretty easy to set up, in fact my son set up most of it himself. We were missing two pieces for one of the drums, but Musicians Discount Warehouse was great to deal with and they promptly shipped out the missing parts. My son loves the drum set. It is really an excellent set for a beginning drummer, and probably good for more advanced drummers, although I'm no expert since I've never played the drums myself.
